FISHEYE

Fisheye Wrestling started in April 2009.



It began when my son got involved in wrestling and I saw firsthand what happens when a program does not teach the right techniques. I loved coaching and wanted to build a room that did it the right way. We moved out of the school environment and into our own space so we could coach with consistency, focus, and a clear standard.

To make great humans. To make successful adults.
We try to win some matches in between.

Fisheye is designed for wrestlers from about 7 years old through high school, from beginners to elite athletes.

ACHEIVEMENTS

Fisheye athletes have produced standout seasons at the state and regional level, and have gone on to compete at the college level across Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3.

Notable 2025 highlights include:

Jaeckez Mendez
Reached the New England 144 lb final for the third consecutive year and finished as the runner up

Ethan Buonanducci
New England Champion

In 2025, Fisheye had 10 Connecticut state class champions (photo left).
